You pick the tone (the prompt is baked in), paste your draft, and get one clean sentence. No prompt to write. No three variations to choose from. About five seconds total.

Four free rewrites, no signup. Pro is $5/month, $29/year, or $99 lifetime (500 seats). In India: ₹99/month, ₹599/year, ₹4,999 lifetime.

Welcome. By using LessBot (lessbot.app) you agree to these terms. They’re written to be short and readable. If anything is unclear, email hello@lessbot.app.

1. The service

LessBot is a web tool that rewrites messy text drafts into one clean sentence in the tone you choose. It also has a Reply mode that generates a reply from an incoming message. LessBot runs at lessbot.app — there’s no downloadable app.

2. Who can use LessBot

You must be at least 13 years old to use LessBot. If you’re under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, please only use it with parental consent. By using LessBot you confirm you meet these requirements.

3. Your account

You can use LessBot for the free tier (3 rewrites per IP) without signing up. To become a Pro subscriber or claim referral credits, you sign in with either your email (magic-link) or your Google account. Your account is identified by your email address. Keep that email accessible — it’s how you sign in on other devices and how we send receipts. If you lose access, contact us.

You’re responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Don’t share sign-in links.

4. Free tier and rate limits

The free tier is 3 rewrites total per IP address across a rolling 90-day window. This limit applies whether or not you sign in — clearing cookies won’t reset it. We enforce this to keep the service running for everyone.

We may apply additional rate limits at our discretion to prevent abuse. If you hit a limit and think it was in error, email us.

5. Pro subscriptions and billing

Pro plans include Monthly, Yearly, and Lifetime tiers. Prices appear at checkout in your local currency (USD or INR based on your region).
Monthly and Yearly subscriptions renew automatically on the plan you chose. You can cancel anytime from your Razorpay receipt email or by contacting us. Access continues until the end of your paid period.
Lifetime purchases are one-time and non-recurring. Access continues for as long as LessBot exists as a service.
Payments are processed by Razorpay. We don’t store your card details.
Refunds are handled per our Refund Policy.

6. Founder pricing

Anyone who subscribes before Founder pricing ends (currently 30 September 2026) is grandfathered at their signup rate for the lifetime of their subscription. If we raise standard prices later, Founders keep paying their original rate as long as they don’t cancel. Lifetime buyers pay once and never again.

7. Acceptable use

Please don’t use LessBot to:

Generate spam, harassment, threats, or hate speech
Impersonate real people in messages meant to deceive or defraud
Generate content that sexualizes minors or is otherwise illegal
Automate mass messaging, scraping, or bypass rate limits
Attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or clone the service
Violate any applicable law in your jurisdiction

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, without refund. If you think we made a mistake, email us and we’ll review.

8. Your content

The text you paste into LessBot is yours. You keep all rights to your inputs and to the rewrites LessBot generates for you. We don’t claim ownership over anything you type or receive back.

We don’t store your rewrites on our servers. Your history (last 20 rewrites) lives in your browser’s local storage only. See the Privacy Policy for details.

9. Our intellectual property

The LessBot name, logo, brand, tone designs, source code, and overall product design are owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark. You may not copy or reuse them without written permission. You may share screenshots of your own rewrites freely.

10. Third-party services

LessBot uses these third parties to operate. Their terms apply to their respective services:

Anthropic (Claude Haiku 4.5) — generates the rewrites.
Razorpay — processes payments.
Google — optional Sign-in.
Supabase — hosts subscription state.
Resend — sends transactional emails.
Vercel — hosts the app.
PostHog — product analytics (anonymized).

We’re not responsible for how these providers operate their own services.

11. AI-generated content disclaimer

LessBot uses a large language model to generate rewrites. Outputs can occasionally be wrong, awkward, off-tone, or contain factual errors. Always read the output before you send or share it. You’re responsible for anything you send using LessBot’s output. LessBot is not a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, or mental-health advice.

12. Service is provided “as is”

LessBot is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don’t guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LessBot and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold LessBot harmless from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses that arise from your misuse of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

15. Termination

You may stop using LessBot at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or misuse the service. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will survive.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Substantive changes will be announced by email to Pro subscribers and posted here with an updated “last updated” date. Continued use of LessBot after changes means you accept the updated terms.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
